Missions

Crestview is a mission-minded church. A good portion of every dollar received through our offerings support local, national & global missions! We have partnered with international missionaries as well as state & local ministries for many years. Our goal is to support them through prayer, financial gifts, and short-term trips.

HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED?

  • GO - Seeing the mission field with your own eyes can change your worldview as you better understand the physical and spiritual needs of people everywhere. Our missions team provides us with local, national, and international service opportunities.
  • GIVE - If you tithe at Crestview, you are already involved. However, most missionaries have additional financial needs. Email Lynda Ruth to find out how you can give to a specific mission.
  • PRAY - Our missionaries are on the front lines of battle. They need you. Through your prayers they will be strengthened, and you will become a part of their mission. Together, your actions and prayers will help extend the Kingdom of God.
  • LEARN - If you would like to know more about how missions accomplish God’s plan for the world, check out the Perspectives class, offered through Manhattan Christian College.
  • APPLY - If you're applying for an international short term mission trip, then please fill out the form here.
  • Mashoko christian Hospital - zimbabwe

We have partnered with this medical evangelism ministry since 1975 when a member went to serve in the hospital laboratory. Current missionaries are Dr. Zindoga and Dinah Bungu.

  • Eli & Margaret Sweany - Senegal

We support the ministry of the Sweanys at Bourofaye Christian School. In addition to being dorm parents, Eli’s responsibilities include dorm coordinator & maintenance and Margaret’s include teaching.

  • Pioneer Bible translators

We support the Bible translation, church planting, and support ministry of PBT in sensitive areas of the world.

  • shepherd's crossing

We join other area churches in supporting Shepherd’s Crossing’s mission to provide compassionate and caring assistance to those in need of a listening ear and financial support. We work together helping meet financial needs for rent, utilities, and prescription medications to those in our community.

  • Homestead ministries

The Homestead is a safe, residential transitional care program for women who are survivors of the sex trafficking industry. Homestead Ministries provides services and support for each survivor to move from being under a 100% supervisory program to 100% independence, integrating back into mainstream society in a productive and life-giving way as they are taught to become more fully devoted followers of Christ.

  • manhattan Christian college

We have enjoyed a long-standing relationship with MCC as the college seeks to establish and equip future church leaders. In turn, Crestview has been blessed with students attending and involving themselves in leadership roles in the congregation.

  • Cookson Hills

Cookson Hills is a home, school, and therapy haven for children who are at-risk.

For many kids, Cookson Hills is their childhood home. For others it’s a temporary home for about two years. All kids come to Cookson Hills to live within a family. They enroll in school, they play sports, they make friends, they help set the table, they laugh, they ride horses, they heal, and (we hope) they leave better than they came.

  • Relate 360

Relate 360, a faith-based organization, partners with parents and schools in Manhattan, KS, and surrounding areas, to educate, challenge, and inspire students from elementary school through college concerning personal value, the benefits of sexual integrity and the choices it entails. Relate 360 empowers the next generation to live with intention, love with integrity, and experience wholesome relationships.

  • Bobby and Mandy Graham, Ghana

We partner with this Team Expansion family working in West Africa.  They minister through community health evangelism (CHE), church planting, and an agricultural training center.

  • Jon and Jenny Gainer, Kontaktmission USA

We partner with the Gainer family who formerly served in Ukraine. Jon serves as Kontaktmission's Director of Eastern Europe church planting and continues assisting with outreach to unbelievers, discipling new believers, and strengthening the local established church in the least Christian continent in the world.
